In 1904, French biologist-physiologist René Quinton made a discovery that would quietly change the course of biological science — and, a century later, the course of cosmetics.
Seawater and human blood plasma are not merely similar. They share the same ionic balance, the same osmotic behaviour, the same fundamental capacity to sustain cellular life. The ocean, Quinton demonstrated, is not simply where life began. In measurable, scientific terms, it remains the environment our bodies most closely resemble.
This was not metaphor. It was chemistry.
Dr. Alberto Fabbri read this research and arrived at a conclusion that became the foundation of Fabbrimarine: if human skin and marine organisms share the same biological architecture, then marine-derived ingredients are not foreign to skin — they are recognized by it. They don't work against the skin's natural processes. They speak the same language.

Fabbrimarine draws on 88 species of algae — 56 widely known, 32 rare, academic, and medicinal varieties studied at the margins of marine biology. Five types of marine plankton. Oyster extracts.
